The purpose of the Florence Township Recreational Soccer Association (FTSA) is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for the children of Florence to learn the basics of the sport of soccer, sportsmanship, cooperation and team play. The FTSA Board and Coaching staff is made up of hard working parents and volunteers. For anyone interested in joining the Board, Coaching, or helping out please send an email to florencetwpsoccer@gmail.com.
Recreational soccer through the FTSA is offered for children between Kindergarten and 8the Grade. The program is broken into U6 Coed, 1st Grade Coed, 2nd Grade Coed, 3rd/4th Grade Girls, 3rd/4th Grade Boys, 5th/6th Grade Girls, 5th/6th Grade Boys, and 7th/8th Grade Coed teams. There is a Middle School Program for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders attending the Florence Township Riverfront School. Those interested in the Middle School Program should inquire through the Florence Twp School District. Florence Township participates in the Northern Burlington Recreational League for teams from 1st Grade through 5th/6th grade. Along with Florence Township, Chesterfield Township, Mansfield Township, North Hanover Township, Springfield Township, and the Fort Dix base all participate in the league.
