Florence Township Patriotic Day 2012 Fundraising Efforts
In an effort to bring the annual Patriotic Day Celebration back to the community, the governing body has authorized a group of residents, municipal staff and members of the Economic Development Committee to begin a fundraising campaign. A dedicated fund has been established and donations have already been received by the township. The progress of the fundraising effort will be marked by entries on a large thermometer that will be placed near the municipal building. In addition, the fund balance will be periodically updated on a portion of the website on the homepage under Ongoing Information and on the township television channel.
Residents and businesses are welcome to make contributions to the fund by sending a check to the Municipal Complex, 711 Broad Street, Florence, NJ 08518. Please make checks payable to the Township of Florence. All donors will receive a letter acknowledging their donation.
Specific fundraising efforts are beginning this month and it is our desire to host at least one event per month. Please watch the website and television channel for periodic updates about the fundraising events.
