Florence Township Police police patch

F.A.A.D., which stands for Florence Against Alcohol and Drugs, was organized in 1989. The Florence Township Police Department participates as a member of this township wide organization.

The members of F.A.A.D. recognize the detrimental effects of alcohol and drugs on our children, families, schools and community and have pledged to organize and coordinate the efforts of police, business groups, schools, churches and other community organizations to work toward making Florence Township a drug-free community.

The specific goal of F.A.A.D. is to increase the awareness of 50 percent of the parents in the community concerning the extent of alcohol and other drug abuse in Florence Township.

The Florence Township Police Department representative for F.A.A.D is:

Chief of Police Alvin Scully
