Florence Township has recreational opportunities for everyone. Children can enjoy a broad array of active recreation programs that include: Little League Baseball, Baseball Minor League Baseball and T-Baseball, Youth Softball Click here to visit the Softball Web Site and Youth T-Softball,
Football and Cheerleading, West Jersey Youth Football League, National Prep & Youth Football Association, Field Hockey, Click here to visit the Soccer Web Site Soccer, Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball. There is a nominal fee for each child that participates in a sport. Fees are used to offset some of the costs associated with providing such a wide variety of active recreational opportunities. In addition to the many active recreational activities, the Township of Florence has many parks and scenic areas where you can enjoy a walk, a picnic or even reserve an area for a private special occasion.

For those of you that prefer the shore, you’re in luck. Florence is only a short trip to any one of the fine beaches along the Jersey shore. They include:

Cape May Long Beach Island Atlantic City
Wildwood Island Beach State Park Seaside
Avalon Point Pleasant Ocean City

If you prefer amusements you can make the short drive to the Great Adventure Theme Park and Safari. (30 mins)
