Florence Township is pleased to announce the upcoming road program work for 2022 & 2023

The 2022 & 2023 road program work is expected to begin in the middle of July, 2022 and will run through 2023. See below for the list of roadways to be done over the next two (2) years:

2022

• Winter Street (Front to W. Second, Third to Sixth)
• West 5th Spring to Church (include crossing at Winter Street)
• West Second Street (Broad to Boulevard)
• Summer Street (Front to West 3rd)
• Spring Street (Front to West 2nd)
• Church Street (Front to W. Third)
• Main Street (2nd to 5th) (Hornberger side)
• Iron Street (Front to W. Third)
• Park Street (Richardson to Bodine)
• West Sixth Street (Bodine to Richardson)
• Richardson Street (W. Sixth to Front, including parking improvements)
• Woodlawn Avenue (Front to W. Fourth)
• West Fourth Street (Bodine to End)
• Public Park Improvements (Woodlawn Park parking)
• Walking/Bike trail from Walnut to Eyre (5th Street)

2023

• Amboy, Peace, Pond, Railroad Ave
• Roland, Alden, Norman Ave
• Library parking lot
• Union Street
• 5th Street (Wallace Ave to Hamilton)
• West Sixth Street (Spring to Summer check Broad to Winter and sidewalk/path on Ball Park side)
• East 5th Pine to Walnut (Walking path and redesign intersection 5th and Walnut)
• Grove Street, William Street & Riverview (off William St.) side not done previously
