Beginning Monday, October 7th the township public works department will officially begin the annual leaf collection program.

In 2023 we developed zone collections and updated residents weekly on the whereabouts of the collection process. Collections continued zone by zone into the New Year and it worked out very well.

We encourage residents to stage leaves similarly to the photo below where piles are placed just off of the roadway. Leaves left in the streets cause a disruption to storm drains and reduce driving lanes on many roadways.

Please be mindful of postings where residents will be requested to move vehicles in order for collection to take place on certain streets. It is advised that where possible, residents utilize public parking lots on those days (i.e. Amboy Avenue and Hornberger Avenue).
