Application for Continued Certificate of Occupancy (CCO)

  1. A physical inspection of the property must be scheduled. Fill out the first page of the Housing Inspection Form – Resale and submit the form and fee to the Florence Township Housing Department.
  2. Required information includes the name and current address, phone number and email address of the Owner/Seller and Buyer. Please note that we do not need the name of the buyer in order to schedule the inspection; however, buyer information is required in order to issue the CCO.
  3. At the inspection, a list of violations and necessary repairs will be provided to you. Once you have made the required repairs, a re-inspection is required. This re-inspection is included in the original fee. If additional inspections are required, please see Chapter 2 of the Township Code.
  4. If any new work is found to be done without a permit, a permit application must be filed with the Township and pass proper inspections with the Construction Department. Any outstanding constructions permits must be closed.
  5. The following are required in order to receive a CCO. Original certifications are required. Photocopies or faxes will NOT be accepted:
