Now that Spring is upon us, residents will resume yard clean-up projects, clearing accumulated debris from the winter months. Please take note of the following in order for items to be collected or disposed of properly:
– All leaves must be bagged when placed curbside, as leaf season has concluded since late January. Bagged leaves will be picked up by our crews. Residents may also visit the Florence Twp Recycling Center during hours of operation to discard leaves.
– Please place branches and manageable sized tree parts curbside on the grass between curb and sidewalk or at the edge of your property if there is no sidewalk. Do Not stack branches in the street. This will impact the flow of stormwater and cause blockage to storm drains.
– Residential tree trimming may be placed curbside for collection. Please visit the public works website to observe appropriate sizes for placing cut trees. ALL tree work completed by commercial contractors must be removed from property by those companies. They will not be collected if left curbside.

– Bulk RECYCLABLES Collection – Our public works department will collect large recyclable items that are placed curbside. Residents must contact our municipal clerks office to request the pick up and describe items to determine that they qualify for collection. Items collected MUST BE RECYCLABLE. To be placed on the Bulk Recyclables List, please call 609-499-2525 during normal business hours.
