This photo was NOT taken in Florence Township, however examples of this type have taken place in town. Recycling is an important element of service that is provided to our municipalities and we along with the Burlington County Office of Recycling provide various information associated with recycling throughout the year.

Please post our mailer on your refrigerator as a quick reference of what to recycle and what NOT to recycle. (New recycling flyers will be sent by mail with tax bills this summer). One has been sent out recently by Burlington County and we maintain the flyer on our township website as well.

If you are unsure what may be recycled, please contact the Florence Township municipal office at 609-499-2525 for more information.

Need to schedule a bulk metal pickup? Contact Florence Township administration at 609-499-2525 and provide information as to what you may need picked up and our staff will schedule your pickup.

Recycling has been a part of New Jersey communities since the mid-1980’s. The volume of recycling has grown tremendously thru the last several decades, but many are still unsure of the benefits of recycling or what items are allowable to recycle. If you see your neighbor placing incorrect materials curbside, help them or suggest that they contact the township or look online for more information.

We greatly appreciate your continued support.
