Today Florence Township resident, Don Cammus was honored at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Annual Symposium for his efforts in volunteering to support the townships recycling program during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Township Water Department Will Be Flushing Hydrants from September 12th Through October 31st
Please call (609) 499-2518 for flushing dates and times in your specific area or visit the website site @ https://www.florence-nj.gov/departments/water-sewer/hydrant-flushing/ During hydrant flushing the water will become cloudy and it is not recommended to wash laundry during or immediately following the flushing procedure in your area. Additionally, it is recommended that you flush your water heater to remove any sediment that may accumulate. Please contact us
